16 g of coffee

250 g of water at 96°C

Medium grind

Place a paper filter in the V60 and rinse it with hot water. This preheats the dripper and removes any paper taste. For the best results, use filtered water.

Discard the rinse water from the server.

Grind the coffee just before brewing, add it to the dripper and gently level the bed.

Place the V60 and server on a scale, tare it and start the timer.

0:00 — pour 50 g of water and allow the coffee to bloom.

0:30 — continue pouring to 100 g using a slow, circular stream.

0:50 — continue pouring to 200 g.

1:10 — continue pouring to 250 g.

Gently swirl the V60 and let the coffee drain. The total brew time should be around 3 minutes.

If the water flows too quickly or too slowly, adjust the grind. Always use taste as your final guide.
